Nine Sols is an especially stylish (and shockingly mature) action platformer that's been around on PC for a while. Its demo caused quite a stir a couple of years back because of how well made and engaging it was, and the full game released to gushing praise on Steam this May. It currently sits at an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' user rating.
Anyway, it looks like Nine Sols is heading to PS5 and PS4. As spotted by Gematsu, the title's been rated for consoles in Taiwan, which is usually a solid indication that an announcement is in the works. Hopefully we get some confirmation soon, because as alluded, we've heard nothing but good things about this one.
Gameplay-wise, Nine Sols is a side-scrolling, fairly demanding mix of fast-paced platforming and slick, parry-based combat. Said combat, by the way, is heavily inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, according to Taiwanese developer Red Candle Games.

Ooh nice, had this on my list for the Steam Deck but I always prefer playing on the big screen. I'll hold off until the PS5 release.
@Ainu20 I picked this up on the steamdeck this weekend funnily enough. I’d never heard of it before but was in the mood for a new metroidvania and it popped up on my search. I’ve only played a couple of hours so far but it is really good!
I've beat the game on Steam when it released and the game is utterly fantastic. Probably my favorite Metroidvania, beating out Hollow Knight and Ori Will of the Wisps.
Well this is funny, me and my best friend have a running joke that Sekiro is a mariolike because it has a jump button, now there’s a platformer that’s a sekirolike. Oh, how the world works sometimes. Seriously though it’s like we’re being watched. <.<
Nice. I was searching for this on PSN just last week after hearing good things, and was disappointed not to find a listing. Hopefully a release date is announced soon.
I recently heard about this game on a Summon Signs podcast and thought it sounded and looked incredible. I’m glad it’s coming to consoles! I’ll be picking this up day one.

Been wanting to play this since seeing a video of the demo forever ago. Art style is awesome
Fighting Cowboy played and i think rated it, so that has certainly sparked my interest in the game.
